The various DS models are manufactured in limited series with the utmost care and extended manual work in our custom shop. DS is in close contact to both national and international artists who play our instruments live on stage and in the studio. What distinguish our instruments are their first class quality due to our careful choice and workmanship of all the single components, their excellent sound, comfortable handling and last but not least, their bribing design. What we successfully started with the new development of our electric solid-body mandolin, we are continuing with other DS innovations. We offer slide guitars, bajo sextos, basses, various doublenecks and of course a wide range of electric guitars. Apart from an almost unlimited number of options, you can ask for custom tailored designs and extras on any model of our instruments. So you get a real unique instrument from our custom shop. With our current range of different products, DS succeeds in offering instruments of high quality for a good price, which is one of the important goals of our company and is confirmed by the positive feedback and compliments by numerous musicians. our workshop In our workshop we not only build instruments but we also repair them. Many different kinds of work such as newfretting, built in and modification of pick-up systems, electronic works, many different kinds of repairs of various wood, finishes and modifications are done, and not only on guitars. Customers also bring their banjos, basses, lapsteels, zithers, bouzoukis and various stringed instruments to be fixed. We provide first class advice to find the best solution also when the problems or the wishes are special or complex. More and more internationally known musicians appreciate the good service as well as the intimate atmosphere when they bring their instruments in our workshop. Just as different music shops all over Switzerland use our competent repair service.

Mit äusserster Sorgfalt und viel Handarbeit werden in unserem Custom Shop die verschiedenen DS-Modelle in Kleinserien gefertigt. DS steht in engem Kontakt zu internationalen Künstlern, welche unsere Instrumente live und im Studio spielen. Ihre Anregungen und Feedbacks tragen zur stetigen Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung der Instrumente bei. Diese zeichnen sich alle aus durch ihre erstklassiges Qualität, die sorgfältige Wahl und Verarbeitung aller Einzelkomponenten, die hervorragenden Klangeigenschaften, den hohen Spielkomfort und nicht zuletzt durch das bestechende Design. Was erfolgreich mit der Neuentwicklung der elektrischen solid-body Mandoline begann, setzt sich jetzt bei weiteren DS-Innovationen fort: Bajo Sexto, Bass Doubleneck und natürlich verschiedene elektrische Gitarren. Nebst der vielen Optionen, die der Kunde hat, können bei allen Modellen auch Sonderwünsche berücksichtigt werden. So entstehen echte Unikate in unserem Custom Shop. Die unterschiedlichsten Arbeiten, z. B. Neubundierungen, Ein- und Umbau von Pickup-Systemen, Elektronikarbeiten, Holzreparaturen aller Art, Lackierungen sowie Modifikationen, werden nicht nur an Gitarren ausgeführt. Kunden lassen in unserer Werkstatt auch ihre Banjos, Bässe, Lapsteels, Zithern, Bouzoukis und weitere Saiteninstrumente reparieren. Auch bei speziellen Problemen und Wünschen bieten wir Hand für die bestmögliche Lösung. Immer mehr nationale, aber auch internationale Musiker schätzen den guten Service und die persönliche Atmosphäre und bringen ihre Instrumente für einen Service oder zur Reparatur vorbei. Verschiedene Musikhäuser in der Schweiz nutzen ebenfalls den guten DS-Service.
